The company, TRICICLOS LIFANTE, was founded more than 40 years ago in 1952 in Barcelona. From the beginning, Mr José Lifante worked to enhance the mobility and independence of people who were handicapped or who could not move. He therefore created the motor trolley –with a two-speed motor– and the “velocimano” ( an apparatus to enhance speed). He later began manufacturing wheelchairs and accessories which gave rise to the well-known company, LIFANTE VEHICLES, S.A.

His work was continued by his son, José Lifante, who has surrounded himself with a great team of people at the service of our customers. This positions us as one of the largest companies in Spain and one of the most important international exporters.
